By the following methods, you can repair the faults of the air suspension system. Repair leaking airbags and faulty struts. Change the sensor linkages. Replace the faulty shock absorbers. Repair or replace the pump/ compressor. Replace blocked air suspension valves. Reset the control module. Change the height of the Range Rover Sport frame.
7. checkd the nsr connectors and no visula damages or visible broken wires. 8. reset the vehicle andattempted to do the calibration with no luck, as the FL height sensor is not giving the right reading. 9. calibrated the steering. 10. checked all fuse and relay. 11. comperssor relay works.

If your suspension fault message does say “Normal Height Only”, you most likely can drive to a local service station without any additional damage to your Land Rover. British Autoworks recommends, at the very least, a fault code retrieval of your suspension system. These suspension faults will guide us to problem.

Suspension fault on a Discovery III - engine running - all displays/switches showing different setting
Options Had the same issue - replaced battery which got rid of a bunch of other messages but still got the random suspension faults. 06 with 60K on it - turned out to be the sensor on the front passenger side was faulty , once replaced it stopped - fortunate as that's pretty much the least expensive thing that can go wrong.
The top six reasons air suspension doesn’t work include the following: Blown fuse. Bad relay. Faulty compressor. Air leak. Faulty wiring. Faulty height sensor. In this post, you’ll learn the top causes of an inoperative air suspension message, how to diagnose your suspension problem, and also how to fix it.

Naturally I replaced this sensor with a tested 2nd hand one. and Suspension continues to fault. SO assuming id been sold a dodgy sensor, i replaced it with a new one. Still same issue. Suspension fault, Initially the HDC light in dash was red, and the illumination under the console switches was non existent.

It was/is a 2008 diesel HSE. Priced at £3800 which seems reasonable. However although it has a full years MOT, it had quite a few advisories including one for corrosion. Looking back through the history it has failed a fair few MOTs, some in quite substantial items including one year where it failed the emissions and had an engine warning Landrover Discovery 3 The suspension system shows a fault and goes into safe mode. Took it to Landrover & they recommend replacement of the suspension system at quite some cost. The vehicle has only done 70 thousand Km & i dont want to go to this expense. Apparently there are certain sensors on each wheel and any one of these can cause a problem. I tried turning the car on and off a few times which seemed to reset the system and I managed to get the car back to my office. The following day when JLR personnel came to pick up the Discovery 4 there was a suspension fault message on the instrument cluster. Instrument cluster 'suspension fault' warning message

Colin. Most likely to be a wiring fault, there is a multiplug behind the front lefthand wheelarch liner that gets corroded. Later models have a modified loom to cure the problem. You need to drop the front left wheelarch liner, and pull the plugs and check for corrosion on the pins. Other possibility is a wheel speed sensor at fault.

If the car's at normal height and the warning doesn't go away, pull the fuses for the EAS (there's 3 of them) to freeze the car at that height (it'll complain about it, but won't adjust the suspension). Otherwise, if an EAS fault is logged for any significant time , you run the risk of the car escalating the problem and dropping to access height.
