Not that familiar with the 2.7 CRD, but the P0702 code is not a generic transmission code, it means an internal shifter failure. I believe that those shifter assy´s on the CRD are a bit problematic (and expensive). Today i pulled up to a car park, went to move off, there was no drive, as if i were in Neutral. I turned ignition off on everything working fine again.

WJ Starter Motor Removal 2.7 CRD. I would appreciate some advice on removal and replacing the starter motor on my 2003 GC 2,7 CRD. From underneath I can just about get a socket on the 2 nuts holding the cables and on the lower mounting bolt - but any tips for accessing the top bolt?
