That "slep meter"is actually a "time-left-of-allowed-in-duty" for the daily rest by law. You can't configure the law at will.. I prefer the sleep requirement as it is since it's an important component of the simulation. I worry about not finding an open parking space for rest when I pull in with 5 mins to spare. It is not set as an exhaustion meter ;) It is set after resting time rules in RL, but it is not fully implemented. There are some more regulations there that are not in the game. Actually it seems it does act as a 'meter'. If I travel on the train through the Euro Tunnel it reduces the 'meter' by the time it takes to travel. No need for sleep. With this mod you can drive 24 hours and then you only need to rest 1 min. Really good mod if you want just drive and feel day and night. DOWNLOAD 38 KB First I have to say it's very exciting doing an oversized cargo job thanks to the interactive elements. Second is the issues I have. You can't drive at a fast speed, the saftey car won't allow it. So you get tired. And sleepy. And then you get fined. You loose your income for this job because you have to pay for the fine (if you have economy overhawl mod) which is is suppose to add realism to

I think it was done to allow players in convoy to all meet at a given place without changing the time for each player and having to readjust the time to match. Something like that Probably this ^^^ and it was just a silly exploit anyway, no great loss. But of course! Travelling between cities does not take time at all, it's just an exploit.

As a last resort with the braking, go into your Options>Gameplay menu and scroll down to Truck Settings. Try moving the Braking Intensity to the left to decrease the harshness of the braking effort. #1. Reedi Oct 1, 2019 @ 9:10am. OK cheers Jim, odd thing is ATS seems fine, same machine, even tried copying the same settings.
9 hours. You also get fully rested on ferry rides that take at least that long, and partially rested on shorter ones. There is one difference between sleeping and taking a ferry. Sleep takes nine hours in game time and resets your driving time to 11 hours whatever it was before you slept. Taking a ferry/train adds as many minutes to your
Even in the early days, you could sleep where there was a rest icon on the map (motels, rest stops, some parking spots). And *only* there. Sadly, sleepers are just cosmetic.

Hi! Is there a mod which shows better or at all how many hours do I have before taking a break is required? It bugs me that I start yawning in the middle of a long autobahn and I don't have time to plan this.
Re: Console command for fatigue? #5 by Pepsi » 07 May 2019 19:09. Thanks for response guys, I don't want to disable fatigue completely but just reset it to simulate the rest of me forwarding time. If I deactivate it, forward time and then reactive the fatigue option then it may well start the rest period from the beginning, I'll try.
Typically External contracts sit somewhere around 15-18 hours. That means, for those extra long hauls (2000+ km) you either need to drive in one sitting or be sure to be playing the game the next day aswell. Otherwise you will miss the deadline. With regular jobs, not an issue.
Does a mod exist that allows me to park and sleep anywhere I want? Like I’d like to be able to park at a shipper or delivery and sleep if I’m out of hours or it’s an unreasonable time to unload I.e. unloading hay at 3 am. I’m tired of having to stop early because I can’t make a farther sleep trigger because I’ll run out of hours.
